Soren Holmgren is Denmark's candidate for JCI’s International TOYP Award in 2010
Every year JCI International awards the highly recognised TOYP prize. TOYP stands for "The Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World". This year, Soren Holmgren is the Danish nominee, under the heading "Personal Improvement and/or accomplishment." The background for Soren's nomination is his great success in business, his Olympic successes, his involvement in voluntary work with elite sport, and especially his performance as a role model program for blind children..
Jesper K. K. Bang - International TOYP coordinator, JCI Denmark elaborates "Soren Holmgren's positive approach to life and its challenges has made a big impression on many people both inside and outside JCI Denmark. Soren is, by the way he uses himself as an example, an inspiration for both the CEO and sales person, as well as for the boy who is losing his vision and for his family. Soren is able to set himself high goals and reach them, and notably he manages to give the people he meets on his way the belief that they can do the same. He demonstrates that differentness is a strength - both in business and in life in general. Soren is an amazing person - a true TOYP winner! He is a strong, and well deserving, candidate to receive the International TOYP Award 2010 at JCI's World Congress in Osaka, Japan"
